SUPPORTIVE SERVICES

Individual Support Services (ISS):
TeamUP Counseling began offering Individual Support Services in June 2016 in response to the overwhelming requests to teach daily living skills.  This program is designed to address the need for skill development for young people living with developmental disabilities.  This program focuses on the teaching of basic and fundamental activities of daily living.  A Coordinator and Technician work closely with the youth and family to teach, implement and transfer skills.  Individual Support Services is offered by a bachelor's level Technician with minimum 1 year experience.  Participants in this program must be determined eligible to receive services by the Division of Development Disabilities prior to enrollment.

Behavioral Assistance (BA):
The goal of this program is to address the behavioral and emotional needs of a young person with mental or behavioral health challenges, or a developmental disability.  Behavioral Assistants work directly from an individual service plan that was created by a licensed clinician.  Behavioral Assistants are Bachelor's level Service Providers.  Treatment services in this program are offered within the home and community setting where the youth resides.

Family Support Services (Respite Care Services):
TeamUP Counseling has been offereing Respite Services since August 2017.  Respite services is designed to offer a relief to individuals caring for a young person with a developmental disability.  Participants in the respite care program may select the type of respite program that best meets their family's needs.  Respite services may be offered onsite in our Weekend Recreational Program, in the family's home by a TeamUP Counseling Agency Hired Respite Provider, or in the family's home by a Self-Hired provider designated by the family.

We are a contracted treatment provider through the NJ Children's System of Care.  Qualified families may participate in treatment services at no cost.  To determine if your child is eligible for supportive services, please contact PerformCare for more information.
